Matt Oguz

Matt Oguz is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in venture capital and technology investments. As General Partner at Venture Science since July 2012, Matt has focused on applying quantitative investment principles to identify opportunities in technology companies at Series A and later funding stages. Additional roles include serving as Chief Investment Officer at IRIS since September 2018 and holding various investor positions across multiple firms, including Piction Health™, Lightmatter, Axiom Space, PsiQuantum, Eat Just, Inc., Oxbotica, and Carbon, the latter of which is a leader in digital manufacturing. Matt's educational background includes an MBA from Georgia State University and a BS in Civil Engineering from Boğaziçi University, as well as studies at the University of Oxford and prominent high schools.
