Deborah MacKenzie is an experienced professional in user experience and service design, currently serving as the Manager of UX and Service Design at OXD since April 2015. MacKenzie has contributed to academia as a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Digital Media, where a course on "Fundamentals of User Experience" was designed and taught as part of a collaborative master's program. Prior to this, MacKenzie was involved in the Master's program as both a student and instructor from September 2013 to February 2015. Notable previous roles include serving as a User Experience Architect at Aviva, where responsibilities included wireframing, prototyping, and stakeholder management, as well as producing theatre productions for the Lords of Misrule. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Digital Media from the Centre for Digital Media and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University.
