Thomas Plein has extensive experience in trading and investment, currently serving in multiple roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch since June 2007, including EGB Trading, eTrading European Rates, EUR Inflation Trading, Global Asset Resolution, and Structured Credit Trading. Key responsibilities have included market making in various financial instruments, developing systematic alpha strategies, and leading projects in credit correlation. In addition, Thomas Plein has taken on several investment roles since January 2022, participating as a member or investor in entities such as Blue Lake VC, Alma Angels, and Gravel AI, among others. Thomas Plein holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Mannheim, obtained in 2007.
