Hershal Patel

Hershal Patel has been working in the tech industry since 2006. Hershal began their career as the Team Captain of the FIRST Robotics Competition in 2006, where they designed and built competition robots with a team of high school students. Hershal also mentored the high school team by teaching how to use SolidWorks for design and to make engineering drawings. In 2008 and 2009, they were an Intern at Lauritzen, Inc, where they drew schematics and laid out printed circuit boards, designed a high-voltage power supply for a mister used in farm equipment, and upgraded existing control board to 32-bit processor from an 8-bit processor. In 2012 and 2013, they were a Summer Intern at SiTime and TDK InvenSense respectively. In 2014, they became an Associate Software Engineer at Nordson MARCH. Since 2015, they have been the Director of Controls and Algorithms at OxiCool, Inc.

Hershal Patel attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2010 to 2014, where they earned their Bachelor EECS/MSE. Prior to that, they attended Mountain View High School.
