Elizabeth Psomas is an experienced professional in the fields of research and product development within the biosciences sector. Currently serving as Team Lead for Oxitec's Friendly™ Aedes Program, Elizabeth focuses on early-stage research and development that influences field trials and commercial sales. Previously, Elizabeth held the role of Research Scientist at Oxitec, leading developments in the company's Just Add Water Technology. Additional experience includes positions at The Royal Parks as a Learning Volunteer, at the Royal Society of Biology as an Accreditation Officer, and roles at Imperial College London and the Natural History Museum providing outreach and taxonomic support. Elizabeth holds an MRes in Ecology, Evolution & Conservation from Imperial College London and a BSc in Zoology from Royal Holloway, University of London.
