Hellen Abreu

Hellen Abreu is a Regulatory Affairs and EHS Manager at Oxitec do Brasil, where they focus on the regulatory and scientific affairs of genetically modified organisms, particularly GM insects. Hellen has extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, previously serving as a Regulatory Analyst at Monsanto Company and Braskem, where they ensured compliance with legislation regarding GMOs. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Plant Physiology from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, as well as an MBA in Gestão Empresarial from Fundação Getulio Vargas. Passionate about learning and new technologies, Hellen has also contributed to the Associação Brasileira de Bioinovação as a member of the Advisory Board and Board of Directors.
