Jackson Nyarko is an experienced professional with a diverse background in environmental sustainability, education, and entomology. Currently serving as Field Operations Manager at Oxitec Ltd, Jackson also holds the position of Examiner with the International Baccalaureate, marking MYP Biology examinations globally. As the Founder and COO of EcoCare Waste Initiative, Jackson leads a team of 82 environmental activists advocating against plastic pollution across 14 countries. Previous roles include Medical Entomologist and Quality Assurance Specialist at the CREC-LSHTM Collaborative Research Programme, Distance Education Course Tutor at the University of Cape Coast, and Integrated Pest Management Specialist with ACDI/VOCA, focusing on pest control and farmer training.
