Sol Prado

Sol Prado serves as the Global Sourcing Director at Oysho since September 2023. Prior to this role, Sol was a Raw Materials Development Professor at Bau, Centro Universitario de Diseño, focusing on innovation and sustainability in the textile industry through the development of new materials and fabrics. A robust background in textile design includes experience as a stylist and textile designer at GRATACOS, S.A.U., and freelance product design roles, highlighting expertise in sustainable materials and strategic consulting. Sol has held various leadership positions in fabric development and purchasing, contributing to both women's and men's fashion markets across several companies in Argentina. Academic credentials feature a degree in Textile Design from the University of Buenos Aires, a PhD candidacy in Design and Applied Arts, and a MA in Gender Studies and Critical Theory.
