Beth Massa has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Beth is currently the CEO of Ozarka B.V., a leading Reusable Food Packaging as a Service company. In this role, they are responsible for transitioning the hospitality and food & beverage industries from disposable packaging to reusables. Beth also founded the company and played a key role in advocating for reusables to become a legal requirement in the Netherlands by 2024.
Prior to their current role, Beth was an unpaid intern at Marqt, where they gained valuable food retail experience. Beth also worked at Microsoft for several years, holding various roles such as Business Development Manager, Digital Lead, and Portal Lead. In these positions, they provided cloud solutions to academic researchers, led digital strategy for small and midsize businesses, and managed marketing communication KPIs and ROI through testing and optimization.
Beth also volunteered as the Netherlands Chapter lead for Worldreader and took a sabbatical before moving to Europe. Beth started their career at Amazon.com, where they held roles such as Site Merchandising Manager and Sr. Editor/Product Manager. Beth was responsible for content production, managing teams, and building out stores for the Music, Software, and Video Games departments. Additionally, they managed project work for Target.com and produced merchandising content for various music genres.
Throughout their career, Beth has demonstrated a strong passion for sustainability, technology, and business development.
Beth Massa attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1988 to 1996, where they studied journalism, English, and history. Beth did not obtain a degree from this institution. In 2018, they attended Ballymaloe Cookery School and completed the Business of Food Immersion Course, focusing on entrepreneurial and small business operations. Additionally, in November 2017, Beth obtained a certification in HACCP Hygiene Code from PlusPort.
