PMT Pauselli Model Tyres was founded in Aprilia in 1990 from Umbro Pauselli,  an innovator with the passion for technology solutions about the tyres for the car models. He kept a focus on the issue of the performance and he invented the right technology to produce the right tyres for every model. He brought the same cutting edge technology for the motorcycle industry, in particular on small tyre dimensions like 6.5 inches, 10 inches and 12 inches.
