Merijn van Loon

Merijn van Loon is an experienced project manager and urban designer currently working at P2 as a Projectmanager and at Gemeente Nijmegen as Projectleider for the area development of Hoge Bongerd and the Stationsgebied. Other roles include serving as Procesmanager for the Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie, overseeing 13 design teams in urbanization concerning soil and ecosystem services, and leading the transformation of a bike depot for Gemeente Utrecht with a focus on sustainability. Prior experience includes senior urban planning roles at CB5 and project leadership at Centrum Ondergronds Bouwen, where Merijn developed an integrated parametric model for a 4D building envelope. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Urban Design and Planning from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Bachelor of Built Environment from Breda University of Applied Sciences.
