Stephanie Verbeek

Stephanie Verbeek is an experienced process and programme manager currently serving at P2 | Regisseurs van een betere toekomst since April 2022. Prior to this role, Stephanie worked at WWF Netherlands (WNF) from October 2013 to March 2022, initially as a senior advisor in the Oceans Unit and later as the Head of the Oceans Unit, where responsibilities included leading marine conservation efforts and managing international programmes focused on marine protected areas, sustainable fisheries, plastics, and marine species protection. Stephanie's professional background also includes a position as a Sustainability Consultant at IMSA Amsterdam, a researcher at TU Delft, and data management at CSO Adviesbureau. Early in the career, Stephanie specialized in search engine optimization at PROSEO B.V. An academic foundation includes a Master’s degree in Policy Analysis, Management and Entrepreneurship from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Master’s in Geology from Utrecht University, complemented by a Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad de Granada.
