Omar Salgado

Omar Salgado is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at P3-Group since August 2018, Omar has been instrumental in assisting BMW in Munich, Germany, to reduce costs and minimize dependency on overseas suppliers. Previously, from 2000 to 2003, Omar held the position of Project Manager at FEMSA in Mexico, focusing on enhancing service levels across a network of 80 convenience stores. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Manufacturing from the University of Cambridge, a Master in Science in Manufacturing Systems from the University of Nottingham, a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de las Américas Puebla, a Diploma in Technology Management from UAM Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, and foundational schooling at Instituto Oriente de Puebla.
