Phil Smart is a principal consultant at PA Consulting, specializing in performance improvement for NHS organizations since 2017. With over 16 years of experience in management consulting, Phil focuses on enhancing healthcare delivery through digital transformation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Previously, they worked as a managing consultant at Capita Health Partners and a management consultant at CPC Project Services LLP, where they developed business cases and implemented evidence-based decision-making for public sector organizations. Phil began their career with an internship at Bison Bede Ltd, where they successfully reduced pricing errors through process improvement initiatives. They hold a BSc in Management (International Business Economics) from the University of Manchester - Institute of Science and Technology.
