Paad Architects is a Tehran-based architecture and research studio founded by Yaser Mousapour. The studio explores architecture as a way of rewriting everyday life: transforming real constraints into new spatial scenarios, typologies, and relationships between bodies, objects, climate, program, and the city.

Rather than treating a building as a finished object, Paad approaches each project as a mise-en-scène — a precise arrangement of movements, thresholds, atmospheres, and everyday rituals. From cafés and restaurants to houses, galleries, schools, and public spaces, the studio searches for hidden possibilities within ordinary conditions: a café bar that walks into the city, a restaurant that behaves like a dead-end alley, a villa experienced as a cinematic long take, or a leftover urban plot transformed into a productive oasis.

Paad’s work is rooted in the difficult and distinguished conditions of contemporary Iran, while engaging broader architectural questions of typology, climate, interior/exterior relations, and new forms of living
