Laurent Callens

Laurent Callens is an experienced executive currently serving as CEO of PACAPIME since October 2021. Prior to this role, Laurent took a sabbatical from November 2019 to October 2021. From May 2006 to October 2019, Laurent held various positions at ASSA ABLOY Group, including Chief Operations Officer for the BENELUX region, where responsibilities included strategic planning and operational oversight for multiple sites with significant turnover. Additional roles at ASSA ABLOY encompassed Plant Manager, Integration Manager, Procurement Category Manager, Strategic Purchasing Manager, Logistics and Outsourcing Manager, and Product Manager, each focusing on optimizing operations, managing budgets, and enhancing product strategies. Laurent's earlier experience includes manufacturing engineering positions at Tower Automotive and WVM. Academically, Laurent holds a Master of Engineering in Chemistry from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven' and a Bachelor's degree in Bio-engineering from Rijksuniversiteit Gent.
