Eric Ly

Eric Ly is an experienced Electrical Design Engineer currently employed at PACCAR since December 2023, having previously served as a Systems Engineering Intern from June to September 2022. During the internship, Eric developed a comprehensive database of over 10,000 CAN signals in Microsoft Excel, created VBA macros for conflict detection in CAN lines, and contributed to the technical documentation for PACCAR's autonomous vehicle platform. Prior experience includes working as a Propulsion Controls & Modeling Engineer at UW EcoCAR, where Eric programmed and tested control systems on a Chevrolet Blazer and led a team in interfacing vehicle software with hardware components. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, obtained in 2023.
