John Young is an experienced purchasing and procurement professional with a robust background in IT procurement and supplier relationship management. Currently serving as the Director of Global Purchasing at PACCAR since January 2005, John has successfully managed a team overseeing a diverse supplier portfolio with significant annual spending, while implementing standardized sourcing processes that yielded impressive cost savings. Prior to this role, John held positions in corporate capital budget management, overseeing a substantial capital budget and multiple projects across various global divisions.
