Chc Michael Walker

Michael Walker, CHC, has diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. From 2019 to present, they have been with PACE Organization of Rhode Island, serving as Senior Director of Compliance and Quality. Prior to that, they worked as the Compliance and Quality Manager and Compliance Associate at the same organization. From 2016 to 2019, Michael was the Network Integration Manager at CareLink Collaborative. Before that, they held positions at CareLink Collaborative and LeadingAge RI, including Senior Project Manager and Special Projects Assistant. Michael's early career includes a role as a Graduate Assistant: Health Policy and Management at Providence College, where they organized conferences and managed major requests.

Michael Walker, CHC, has a strong educational background in history and a wealth of additional certifications. Michael attended Bishop Hendricken High School from 2004 to 2008. Following high school, they enrolled at Providence College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from 2008 to 2012. Michael then pursued further education at Providence College and obtained a Master of Arts degree in American History (United States) and Modern European History from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their academic achievements, Michael has also obtained various certifications. Michael successfully completed the Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) program offered by the Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® in August 2021. Prior to this, they attended the Leadership Academy at LEADINGAGE CONNECTICUT in September 2019. Furthermore, Michael obtained a certification in Project Management from Bryant University in May 2016.
