Jacqueline Owens

Special Education Teacher at Pace School

Jacqueline Owens has extensive experience in the field of special education, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Pace School since May 2015, where responsibilities include leading IEP meetings, lesson planning, and maintaining IEP data for students aged 5 to 18 years. Jacqueline has also held roles as a Classroom Assistant and PCA, working with children on the Autism Spectrum and employing Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques. In addition to educational roles, Jacqueline has been self-employed as a nanny and babysitter since June 2011, caring for children aged 0-11 years, and previously worked as a lifeguard at American Pool from June 2012 to January 2018, ensuring the safety of pool patrons and maintaining certifications in CPR and First Aid. Jacqueline is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, having obtained a Bachelor's degree in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
