Joel Lieginger

Joel Lieginger is the founder and CEO of Paceline. Joel has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on growth and innovation.

Joel began their career at Lincoln Financial Group in 2004 as a financial manager. In this role, they were responsible for the company's financial planning and analysis. Joel left Lincoln in 2009 to join AIG as a manager of international strategy, marketing, and distribution.

At AIG, Joel was responsible for developing and executing the company's international growth strategy. Joel also led the team that launched AIG's bancassurance relationship with Citibank, which grew sales by 40% compound annually.

In 2011, Joel joined AIA as group head of partnership operations and development. In this role, they oversaw the company's relationships with its partners across Asia. Joel also led the team that developed and implemented new ways of engaging with customers through these partnerships.

Under Joel's leadership, AIA's partner relationships grew significantly, and the company became one of the largest life insurers in Asia. In 2019, Joel left AIA to launch Paceline, a financial technology startup that is revolutionizing the way insurance is sold and distributed.

Joel Lieginger completed their undergraduate studies at Boston College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Political Science & Philosophy.
