Bill Sharp

Bill Sharp is a knowledgeable figure in Asian studies, having served as a Visiting Scholar at the Department of History, National Taiwan University. With experience as the Executive Director of the Japan-America Society of Hawaii and as a host for the weekly TV show "Asia in Review," Sharp has contributed significantly to discussions on contemporary Asian affairs. They have taught various courses related to Asian politics at institutions such as Hawaii Pacific University and the University of Hawaii, Manoa, and have held roles as a columnist and researcher focused on Taiwan affairs. Sharp continues to engage with the academic community as an Associate at the Center for Chinese Studies and an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Pacific Forum.
