Alan Bub

Alan Bub is an experienced technology executive currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Pacific Life since May 2024. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Farmers Insurance, where Alan held positions as Head of Application Development and Head of Business Insurance and Non-Insurance Business IT from October 2016 to May 2024. Prior to Farmers Insurance, Alan served as SVP and Chief Technology Officer at Zenith Insurance Company from March 2002 to October 2016, with earlier tenure as VP of Architecture at Zenith Insurance from March 2002 to March 2012. Alan's career began at Digital Evolution from 1995 to 2000 as CTO. Alan holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
