Dirk Beer

Dirk Beer is a Senior Applied Cognitive Scientist at Pacific Science & Engineering since July 2007, where expertise includes psychophysics and visual perception. Prior to this role, Dirk served as a Project Scientist at the University of California from December 2006 to June 2007, focusing on color vision, glare, and adaptive optics. Dirk's career began at General Motors as an Electrical Engineer from July 1990 to July 1991. Dirk holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology with a specialization in visual perception from UC San Diego (1997-2003) and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University (1986-1991).
