William George has over 15 years of experience in power plant operations, currently serving as Shift Leader at PacificLight Power Pte Ltd since January 2014, overseeing a 2 x 400 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant. Prior to this role, William held the position of Shift Engineer at Sembcorp Gulf O & M Company from September 2009 to January 2014, working at the Fujairah Water and Power Plant. William's career began at TANFAC Industries Ltd as a Shift Charge Engineer in a Captive Thermal Power Plant from January 2005 to September 2009, where responsibilities included plant startup and emergency operations. William holds an MBA specializing in Power Management from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, along with a BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Anna University, a Post Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering from the National Power Training Institute, and a D.E.E.E from Annamalai Polytechnic College.
