Ajay Kumar

Ajay Kumar serves as the Chief Regulatory Counsel at PacifiCorp since September 2017, with a robust career in regulatory and corporate law. Previous roles include Assistant General Counsel, Senior Attorney, and State Regulatory Attorney at PacifiCorp, and a Staff Attorney at the Office of Ohio Consumers' Counsel. Ajay worked at American Electric Power as a Corporate Legal Fellow, where responsibilities included representing the company in front of the Ohio Power Siting Board and managing complex litigation. Early experiences involved legal internships at OCLC, Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP, the American Bar Association, and the U.S. House of Representatives. Ajay holds a Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from The George Washington University.
