Charles Zachem

Charles Zachem serves as the Managing Partner at KidneyCare of Oregon since March 1997, leading a premier nephrology practice focused on improving healthcare access and educating future medical professionals. Zachem is a Board Member at InterWell Health, contributing to advancements in value-based care for Chronic Kidney Disease, and at PacificSource Health Plans, where guidance has facilitated the company's growth from $600 million to $3 billion in revenue. Additionally, Zachem holds the position of Medical Director at Fresenius Medical Care North America, overseeing quality assurance for dialysis units in Western Oregon. As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences, Zachem educates the next generation of physicians. Leadership roles have also included serving as Interim CEO and President at Northwest Health Partners, where clinical integration and operational efficiency were prioritized. Zachem holds a Doctor of Osteopathy from Ohio University Heritage College and has completed fellowships and residencies in Nephrology and Internal Medicine.
