Prior to this role, Laurie worked as a Software Engineer IV at Harris Corporation, specializing in mission-critical communication systems for government and commercial clients from January 1997 to April 2010. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Associate Hardware Engineer at Lockheed Martin, contributing to the Titan Rocket Program. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, earned in 1996.
