Eric Jin is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in designing and developing data platforms and pipelines. As a Senior Data Engineer at Sony Interactive Entertainment since December 2021, Eric focuses on creating a core Data Platform for the PlayStation 5. Prior to this role, Eric served as a Senior Software Engineer at Paciolan since April 2012, where responsibilities included building next-generation data infrastructure and developing scalable data pipelines for high-volume transaction and event data. Earlier experience includes a position as a Java Application Developer at Smile Brands Inc. and as a Consultant at Tallan, where collaboration on projects with Disney Online was key. Eric holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Data Science Certificate from UC Irvine.
