Nicolae Lapuste

Nicolae Lapuste has over 20 years of experience working in software testing and quality assurance. Nicolae'smost recent role was as a Software Test Engineer at Custom Health, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at 36Eight Technologies Inc. starting in April 2022. Previously, they held the positions of Clinic Manager & IT Consultant at Lions Gate Medical Clinic and Sr. QA Specialist at Kerygma Consulting Inc. from 2021 to 2022. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Sr. QA Specialist at IC Thrive, where they designed and executed manual and automated test cases. Before that, they were a Senior QA Tester at CCN Bikes / 2M and a Senior QA Analyst at LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services in 2017. Nicolae also has extensive experience as a Software QA Specialist at Haemonetics from 2005 to 2017, a Software Quality Assurance Specialist at QA Labs (now UST Global) in 2004, and as a Software Tester at Ensemble Systems from 2001 to 2004. Nicolae Lapuste began their education in 1992 at Babeș-Bolyai University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Theology/Theological Studies in 1996. Nicolae continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Theology/Theological Studies in 1997. In 2001, Nicolae attended CDI College Business & Technology, where they received a Diploma in Computer Programming in 2002. After several years, they pursued further education and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theology/Theological Studies at Babeș-Bolyai University in 2017. Nicolae is currently studying Real Estate at UBC Sauder School of Business. In terms of certifications, Nicolae Lapuste obtained a Strategic Communication Planning Certificate from the International Association of Business Communicators in September 2019. Additionally, they obtained an ISTQB - CTFL certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in March 2017.
