Ari J. Salonen

Ari J. Salonen serves as the Growth Portfolio Director at InfraVia Capital Partners since January 2023 and holds board observer positions at Packhelp and Ometria. Previously, Ari was a board member and CEO at Midaxo from 2014 to 2025, leading the development of a cloud platform for programmatic M&A, and served as a board member at Alekstra, StratioBD, and coneksion®. From 2008 to 2014, Ari was the General Manager for North America and Global BPO Services at Basware, a prominent purchase-to-pay automation provider. Ari's earlier roles include Chief Strategy Officer at Cambridge Technology and COO at CellExchange. Educational qualifications include a PhD program in corporate finance at MIT Sloan, multiple degrees in industrial engineering and management from Aalto University, and military training as an Infantry Lieutenant in the Finnish Defense Forces.
