Fabian Fülling

Fabian Fülling has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Fabian is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Packmatic since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Solutions Architect for Digital Native Businesses from September 2020 to February 2022.

Before joining AWS, Fabian worked at kollex as a CTO from June 2019 to July 2020. From October 2015 to June 2019, they served as the VP Engineering at Vimcar.

Fabian also has experience as a Founder and CTO at orangecloud software GmbH from May 2010 to August 2018. Fabian worked at Rocket Internet SE as a Project CTO and Director of Software Engineering from February 2011 to September 2015. Additionally, they served as an Interim CTO at Helpling from February 2014 to November 2014.

Prior to these roles, they founded and served as the Director of Software & Design at COUGA.net from May 2001 to December 2010.

Fabian Fülling began their education journey in 2003 when they enrolled at the University of Kassel. Fabian studied Wirtschafts Wissenschaften (Economics) for two years, from 2003 to 2005. After completing their time at the University of Kassel, Fabian joined the SAE Institute Germany in 2005. Fabian pursued a degree in Audio Engineering and successfully obtained an Audio Engineer Diploma in 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Fabian also acquired various certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2012, they became a Zend Zertified Engineer through Zend Technologies Ltd. Furthermore, in 2014, they obtained the M102: MongoDB for DBAs certification from MongoDB University. Recently, in November 2020, Fabian achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification through Amazon Web Services (AWS).
