Allison Wong has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and research. Allison is currently employed as a Mechanical Engineer II at Martin Defense Group, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2019 to August 2021, where they developed motion low-cost autonomous underwater vehicles and state estimators using various tools and sensors. Allison also worked as an Intern at Navatek LLC from January 2019 to July 2019, where they contributed to the development of a user station and created kinematic simulations. Additionally, Allison served as a Course Assistant, Undergraduate Research Assistant, Teacher, and Intern at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 2016 to 2019, gaining valuable teaching and research experience. Allison also worked as an Intern at the Applied Research Laboratory at the University of Hawaii from May 2018 to August 2018.
Allison Wong pursued their education in Mechanical Engineering, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa between the years 2015 and 2019. Later, they continued their studies and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, from 2019 to 2021.
