Joseph Nelson

Joseph Nelson has a diverse work experience starting from 1995. Joseph worked as a Systems Analyst at Holy Names University from 1995 to 1998, where they managed desktop and server computers and provided basic instruction to students and faculty. From 2004 to 2006, they served as the I.T. Manager at Reeds Camera & Imaging, Inc, responsible for computer operations, installation, upgrade, and repair of systems.

In 2006, they founded their own company, Delta Bay Networks LLC, where they provided IT support services and specialized in wireless solutions. Joseph served as the President & Lead Consultant until 2010. During this time, they also worked at MoreFlavor! as a Product Developer, designing industrial food product handling and packaging machines.

From 2010 to 2012, Joseph worked as a Mechanical Engineering Consultant at Pronk Technologies, where they engineered mechanical components and designed biomedical simulators and test equipment. Joseph then joined Williamson & Associates as an Engineering Consultant in 2012, where they supported off-shore telemetry systems and repair in harsh environments.

In 2017, Joseph worked as a Machinist at Ted's Machine Shop, evaluating and repairing machine components, as well as custom fabricating replacement parts. Joseph then joined PacMar Technologies in 2018 as an Engineer l.

Aside from their technical work, Joseph also owned a photography business called Nelson's Photography from 2004 to 2010.

Joseph Nelson began their education in 2000 at Holy Names University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 2004. In 2010, they attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2012. From 2019 to 2021, Joseph pursued a degree in Software Engineering at Penn State University. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Aera Machinist from the Automotive Engine Rebuilders Association in November 2017 and became an ASE Master Mechanic certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence in August 2014.
