Ayi Farida

Ayi Farida has led Pact's office in Indonesia since 2015. She served as deputy chief of party for USAID's LINKAGES and EpiC projects, focused on strengthening Indonesia's response to HIV. In addition to health projects, Ayi led Pact’s project on occupational health and safety in Indonesia’s artisanal tin industry in 2016 and 2017, in which Pact improved the health and livelihoods of Indonesian small-scale cassiterite miners. Ayi has more than 15 years of progressive experience in the field of public health and advocacy, achieving success through coalition building with multiple partners and stakeholders. Prior to Pact, Ayi worked for UNICEF for seven years in Papua, Nigeria and Germany. She also led Save the Children's country office in Papua New Guinea. She holds a master’s degree in public health from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Indonesia.
