Wayne Smith

Wayne Smith has extensive experience in operations and manufacturing management, having held key roles in several companies. Starting as a Manufacturing Engineer at Texas Instruments from May 1988 to March 1991, Wayne progressed to the position of Production Manager at Siemens from March 1991 to June 1994. Following this, Wayne served as Operations Manager at Ivex Protective Packaging from June 1994 to June 2001 and then became VP of Manufacturing at Fabri-Kal from June 2001 to October 2021. Currently, Wayne holds the position of Senior Director of Operations at Pactiv Evergreen Inc. since October 2021. Wayne's military background includes serving as a Captain in the US Army from May 1983 to May 1988, specializing as a Combat Engineer, Airborne, and Ranger. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management.
