About Padala Charitable Trust (PCT)

Founded in 2002, Padala Charitable Trust (PCT) is a registered NGO dedicated to transforming rural communities in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana through holistic empowerment. Our purpose is clear: Encourage • Educate • Empower.

We implement four core programs:
– Vaaradhi: Supporting orphans and semi-orphans with emotional care, mentoring, and financial aid.

– Swechha: Delivering menstrual health, hygiene, and safety education across schools and communities
– Swechha for Little Birds: A personal safety education (PSE) module for 

younger children on Child Sexual Abuse, exploitation and POSCO Act.

– SOE – School of Excellence: Equipping youth with WHO-recommended life skills and career guidance.

– Unnathi: Awarding scholarships to meritorious students who lack access to higher  education.
– Sethu: It provides career guidance and awareness for students. It helps students build a successful future by offering information based on their interests, skills and needs.

– SET: To equip adolescents with essential life skills, Motivation and Leadership. It builds their confidence and mental well-being to help them face life’s challenges responsibly.

Our Impact So Far:

• 130,000+ women and adolescents trained in life skills, career guidance and adolescent health 
• 50,000+ younger children (boys and girls) reached through Personal Safety Education

• 2,000+ single parent/no-parent children supported through Vaaradhi
• 1,500+ scholarships awarded
