Padilla Electric Builders is a union-signatory electrical and general contracting company serving California's industrial, utility, and commodities sectors. Built on 30+ years of field-earned experience, we deliver the electrical systems, utility infrastructure, and ground-up construction that keep critical operations running across Southern California.

Founded by Joe Padilla -- U.S. Army veteran and master electrician -- the company was built from the ground up starting in 1995. Joe spent nearly two decades at the Southern California Gas Company mastering electrical systems in real industrial environments before launching Padilla Electric with one standard: show up prepared, do the work right, and stand behind your name.

Today, under the leadership of his son Harley Padilla, the company has grown more than seven-fold. Harley came up in the trade alongside his father, took over operations in 2013, and officially acquired the business in 2019. Under his leadership, PEB has expanded its trade capabilities through new union partnerships and deepened its presence across industrial, utility, and public works construction throughout Southern California.

As a dual-licensed C-10 and Class B contractor (CSLB #723149), PEB self-performs electrical work alongside civil, concrete, and structural scopes under a single contract -- fewer subcontractors, tighter schedules, and one accountable team from groundbreak through closeout. We are IBEW signatory with Locals 11, 47, 413, and 441, State Certified MBE, and prequalified with ISNetworld, Veriforce, and Ariba.

Our clients include Southern California Gas Company, Siemens Energy, BNSF Railway, Petrell Electric, and multiple water districts. They come back because we deliver without surprises.
