Candice Eley

Candice Eley has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Candice is currently serving as the Director of the Channels Team at Padilla since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Treble Media as the Marketing & Operations Director since September 2012.

Candice has also held positions at the San Diego Tourism Authority, where they served as the Director of Communications from December 2014 until July 2021. In this role, they developed global communications strategies and partnered with the marketing leadership team to set strategic goals. Candice was also responsible for overseeing B2C digital platforms and managing media relations.

Before their tenure at the San Diego Tourism Authority, Candice worked at the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA as the Public Relations Coordinator from June 2007 to December 2010. During their time there, they oversaw media outreach, crisis communications, and served as the editor-in-chief for the organization's magazine.

Earlier in their career, Candice was the Marketing Communications Manager at the Museum of Photographic Arts. Candice worked there from 2004 to 2007 and was responsible for public relations, media buying, managing the museum's website, and developing its first social media account.

Candice Eley completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English at UC Irvine from 2000 to 2004. Candice then pursued their Master of Arts degree in Media Studies at The New School from 2011 to 2014.
