Ricardo Berner has had a varied and successful career in business. Ricardo began their professional career in 1998 as a Consultant/Case Team Leader and Consultant/AC at Bain & Company. Ricardo then moved to Schooner Capital in 2002 as a Private Equity Associate. In 2012, they joined PRACTIKO as Managing Director, where they partnered with founders, owners and C-level executives to accelerate growth and improve profitability. In 2013, they co-founded PadInMotion and held the roles of Business Development & Finance. In 2015, they joined WM Partners, LP as MD and C-lead a ~$300M private equity fund for nutritional supplements in North America. In 2019, they became a Board Member at SBSX Ventures/Skatebird Miami.
Ricardo Berner completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 1993 and 1997. In 1996, they also spent a year as an exchange student at Carnegie Mellon University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. From 1997 to 1998, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), earning an MSc in Economics. Finally, they completed their MBA from Harvard Business School in 2003.
