Daniel Chaparro

Daniel Chaparro is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in aerodynamics, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics. Currently serving as a Senior Application & Support Engineer at PADT, Inc. since February 2020, Daniel has previously held roles such as Manager of Process Simulation and Research Engineer at Gates Corporation, where duties focused on thermal and fluid dynamic simulations for various product lines. Prior experience includes aerodynamics modeling for morphing wing aircraft at MORI Associates, and significant contributions to wind turbine generator cooling systems at Boulder Wind Power. Daniel's career began with roles at Northrop Grumman Corporation as an Aerothermal Engineer, followed by internships at Aerojet Rocketdyne and Rolls-Royce, where thermal and CFD analyses were key responsibilities. Daniel holds a Master of Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, both in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering.
