Arnold Choi

Arnold Choi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Arnold has recently held the position of VP of Engineering at Paebbl since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Emergency Crisis Team Responder at Rode Kruis Nederland starting in October 2019.

Arnold also has extensive experience in the diving industry, having worked as a Master Instructor at PADI since September 2007.

Before their diving career, Arnold was the owner of ACHOIX Studio starting in January 2001.

Arnold's career in the oil and gas industry includes various roles at ExxonMobil. Arnold served as the Process Engineering Department Head from December 2020 to March 2023, where they focused on developing strategies for sustainable operations. Arnold also worked as an Energy Transition Advisor from September 2019 to March 2023, a Global Toluene Conversion Technology Program Leader from October 2017 to September 2019, and a Rotterdam Technology Supervisor from March 2015 to September 2019. Arnold held additional roles as Global Aromatics Extraction Specialist and Program Leader from April 2009 to September 2019, Project Development and Startup Manager from October 2011 to April 2015, Baytown UCO Turnaround Lead from August 2010 to October 2011, Senior Technology Engineer from August 2008 to August 2010, Global Aromatics Hydrofining Technology Program Leader from January 2005 to January 2009, and Process Engineer from January 2003 to January 2005.

At Aker Kvaerner, Arnold worked as a Pipeline Designer from October 2001 to September 2002. Prior to that, they were a Team Leader - Emergency Response at SOCOG - Sydney Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games 2000 from August 2000 to October 2000.

Arnold's career began in the Canadian Armed Forces, serving as an Officer from April 1997 to June 2000. Arnold also gained experience as a Development Engineer (Internship) at Husky Injection Molding Systems from April 1998 to August 1999.

Arnold Choi's education history includes various institutions and degrees. Arnold completed an Executive Development program in Advanced Leadership at Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2015. In 2012, they also completed an Executive Development program in Enterprise Leadership at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Prior to their executive education, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Engineering Science, Chemical Engineering Department from the University of Toronto between 1995 and 2000.

Arnold's earlier education includes attending Turner Fenton Secondary School from 1990 to 1995. Additionally, they studied at The Royal Conservatory of Music from 1980 to 1993. Before their secondary education, Arnold attended William G Davis Senior P.S from 1988 to 1990 and Sir Wilfred Laurier P.S. in 1986-1987.
