Nathan Derave

Nathan Derave is an experienced Platform Lead at Paebbl, focusing on the development of an internal cloud platform on AWS for machine learning, data modeling, and IoT data streaming. As a freelance Platform and Data Engineer with PiperWorks, Nathan enhances organizational capabilities in data and cloud computing. Previously, as DevOps Lead at Ahold Delhaize, Nathan led initiatives to improve developer workflows and foster a DevOps culture. At Data Minded, Nathan worked on data-intensive projects, particularly in media and machine learning applications. An invited lecturer at KU Leuven, Nathan teaches on cloud computing and MLOps. Nathan's earlier role at Accenture demonstrated expertise in platform and machine learning engineering, significantly impacting performance in diverse sectors. Nathan holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering and Applied Mathematics from the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons and completed a master's thesis at Shanghai University focused on recommendation engines.
