Sam Gapes

Sam Gapes is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President at PAG since February 2023. Previously, Gapes held key positions as a Senior Associate in Investment at Round Hill Capital from May 2018 to December 2022, where involvement included private equity within a leading real estate investment firm. Prior to this, Gapes was a Junior Portfolio Manager at Generate KiwiSaver Scheme from October 2015 to March 2018 and worked as a Transaction Services Consultant at Deloitte New Zealand from February 2014 to September 2015. Early career experiences include a Summer Law Clerk role at Bell Gully and a leadership position as Vice President of the Auckland University Law Students' Society. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Law and Commerce from the University of Auckland, passing CFA Level 1 from CFA Institute in 2015, and a 6-month university exchange at Utrecht University.
