Henok Solomon has a diverse work experience in software engineering and architecture. Henok has served as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineering Consultant at Paga Group Ltd, where they were a technical leader for project Doroki, an online merchant store and eCommerce platform. Henok also played a key role in decomposing a large monolithic platform into a microservices architecture and implemented various services like OAuth 2.0 authorization server, single sign-on authentication service, and an accounting journal testing framework. Henok also provided technical mentoring and consultancy services.

Prior to that, Henok worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Excellerent Solutions, where they contributed to software development projects.

Henok also worked at Kifiya Financial Technology PLC as a Software Architect, where they led the design and implementation of an online and mobile payment platform. Henok designed a SOA-based distributed architecture, integrated third-party merchant systems and currency exchange providers, and secured the platform using Spring Security. Henok also provided technical leadership and managed a team.

Before that, Henok worked as a Software Engineering Consultant at JSI | John Snow, Inc. and as a Jr Software Architect, Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead, and Software Engineer at Apposit LLC. Henok was involved in the design and implementation of financial service features for the Paga payment platform and served as a technical lead for software development projects.

Henok began their career as a Software Engineer at Kifiya Financial Technology PLC, where they integrated a third-party billing system for Ethio-Telecom.

Henok started their professional journey as a Jr Software Engineer at Clear ICT.

Henok Solomon attended St. Mary's University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
