Michael Riedijk is the founder and CEO of several companies. In 2012, they started West Coast Ventures, Inc., an early-stage private investment firm focused on software and green/clean tech start-ups. In 2014, they founded Lucent BioSciences, Inc., a company specializing in organic micro-nutrient fertilizer for agriculture. In the same year, they also became a director at the Oceaneos Marine Research Foundation, an organization dedicated to addressing marine ecosystem collapse. In 2010, Riedijk founded PageFreezer Software, Inc., a software firm that develops and supports website and social media data monitoring tools. Prior to these ventures, they founded Green Valley, a software company operating in the Netherlands and Belgium, specializing in e-Government software solutions.
Michael Riedijk earned a Master's Degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology, which they attended from 1991 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Krimpenerwaard College from 1984 to 1991. In addition to their academic achievements, Michael has obtained certifications as an Internal Auditor of ISO 27001:2013 from IMSM in 2019 and as a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in May 2018.
