Mark Urwin has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Mark started their career as a Senior Designer at HM Revenue & Customs, where they led a team of designers and was responsible for developing customer-facing materials. Mark then co-founded Visulab Ltd, providing a range of creative services to clients before transitioning to an account handling position. Mark later became the Internal Agency Team Leader at Sage, managing a twelve-person creative team and ensuring brand consistency in the global marketplace. Mark then joined Williams Lea as a Creative Services Manager, leading the internal studio and managing the creative output for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Currently, Mark holds the position of Head of Creative at PageGroup, where they oversee global creative strategy. Additionally, they have experience as a lecturer at Newcastle College.

Mark Urwin attended Brinkburn Comprehensive School from 1981 to 1987, where they obtained their 'O' levels in Art, Technical & Geometrical Drawing, and English Language. Mark then attended South Tyneside College from 1987 to 1989, earning a BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design. From 1989 to 1991, they studied Design for Electronic Media at Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education, where they completed a BTEC Higher National Diploma.
