Mark Liao

Mark Liao has held various roles in the software engineering field since 2010. Mark began their career as a Vault Assistant at CPI Card Group, followed by a seasonal role as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at the Town of Richmond Hill. In 2016, they joined White Clarke Group as a Junior Software Developer and Solutions Developer, where they used Dojo, Spring and Hibernate to create interactive screens and dynamic widgets for an end-to-end automotive and finance Java web application. Mark then moved to Connected in 2018 as a Software Engineer, and currently holds the same role at League Inc., where they began in 2020.

Mark Liao obtained three certifications from the Lifesaving Society Ontario in August 2010: Swim, Emergency First Aid, & LifeSaving Instructor, National Lifeguard - Pool, and Standard First Aid With CPR-C. Mark then attended the University of Waterloo from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
