Michael Rieser

Michael Rieser has extensive experience in recycling and program coordination within New York City. Since October 2021, Rieser has served as the New York Program Coordinator at PaintCare, overseeing volunteer paint drop-off sites. Prior roles include Recycling Consultant at Michael Rieser Co., where recent projects involved coordinating food scrap collections and conducting stakeholder interviews, as well as Recycling Outreach Coordinator at GrowNYC, developing recycling education strategies for public housing residents. Rieser also held leadership positions with the New York Association for Reduction, Reuse and Recycling (NYSAR3) and worked as a consultant with various companies, including ZLH Enterprises and AT&T, where technical marketing efforts generated significant annual sales. Rieser holds a BS in Psychology & Education from Hunter College and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island.
