Our mission is to create innovative virtual environments and production tools for real-time collaboration, to shoot animated CG content for films, documentaries and music videos at the pace of live action.

Painted Clouds was founded by Joe Hunting in 2022 upon the release of his documentary 'We Met in Virtual Reality'. Since then, the core team of four have been supporting various film and TV developments offering real-time VR production services such as rendering 3D environments, operating virtual cameras, producing high quality character models and general VR filmmaking consulting.
